Sam Dunn is the co-founder of Banger Films, an award-winning filmmaker and a global ambassador for the heavy metal community. Since his first documentary, Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey, and as creator of the TV series Metal Evolution, he has interviewed metal A-list: Ronnie James Dio, Lemmy, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Mastodon, Black Sabbath, Slipknot and, infamously, Gaahl. Find him everywhere on BangerTV.
Daniel Dekay brings his passion for all things metal to BangerTV as an intrepid interviewer, reviewer, and regular co-host of Lock Horns. Based in Toronto, he plays guitar for speed metal pioneers Exciter, is a steadfast member of the KISS Army and credits Mustaine, Schuldiner, and Dimebag as pivotal influences. He also owns several Flying Vs.
Bradley Zorgdrager is Banger’s resident expert on death metal and all things core — hardcore, metalcore, grindcore and deathcore. He’s also the metal/hardcore editor at Exclaim! and runs Sorrow Carrier Records. Born in Kitchener, Ontario, his first record purchase was Sum 41’s All Killer, No Filler, though the three bands that changed his life were decidedly heavier: Converge, Killswitch Engage and Bloodbath.
Sarah Kitteringham is a journalist, photographer and DJ. The first metal record she bought was Iron Maiden’s Brave New World and she’s been fanatically collecting all styles of heavy metal vinyl ever since. Sarah’s byline appears in Noisey, Exclaim!, and BeatRoute; she also sings and plays bass for epic doom act Smoulder. Watch her underground (and occasionally very mainstream) band picks on Overkill Reviews.
